Billing and usage
Billing and usage
Manage your plan and invoices, understand credit activity and find help with purchases or creator earnings.
Your account plan includes the features and allowances listed in its offer. A product purchase gives you access to the named product under its license. Hosted generation and the agent can also use a credit balance you buy. Check which of these you need before paying; one does not automatically include the others.
Manage your plan and invoices
Open Plan and billing to see your current plan, included allowances and subscription status. The page shows the next renewal or end date when applicable, alongside credit-refill and hosted-export information. Use the pricing page to compare current offers.
- Invoices and payment method opens the billing portal for an active subscription.
- Change plan lets you choose from the offers available to your account. Review the price, billing interval and any prorated change before confirming.
- Cancel plan schedules the subscription to end after the current paid period. The confirmation shows when access changes.
- Keep my plan resumes a subscription that is scheduled to end.
An agreement-managed plan may require contacting Maru instead of making a self-service change. The account page explains which controls apply. If a feature is unavailable, read its message before changing plans: paying for a plan does not necessarily grant early access or resolve a service error.
Team plans for organizations
Team is billed to an organization, one seat per member. Every member, including the billing role, is a seat and has everything in Pro for themselves: downloads, Studio, early access and the paid selling rate. The organization's monthly credits go to the organization's balance, which members use when they bill their usage there.
- Start Team from the organization's Plan and billing section, or from the Team button on the pricing page, which asks which organization to use or lets you create one. Only owners and the billing role can change the plan.
- Seats follow the member list. Each person who joins adds a seat and each person who leaves removes one, prorated. The invite form shows what one more seat costs.
- Switch between monthly and yearly billing on the same page. The change is prorated.
- An organization on Pro or Plus keeps its plan and can move to Team at any time, prorated. New Pro or Plus plans are not sold to organizations.
- Cancel Team to move the organization to Free at the end of the paid period. Members keep Pro until then. The organization keeps its members, balance and projects.
If you pay for Pro yourself and your organization moves to Team, your seat already includes Pro. Your own Plan and billing page says so and offers to cancel your personal plan at the end of the period you paid for. Nothing is cancelled unless you choose it.
Understand your activity and credits
Open Usage to see how much of this month's allowance is left, your bought balance in dollars, use by service and by day, generation limits, use by app and recent jobs. Purchases, under the balance, lists each credit pack you bought. When the page says limits are not active yet, usage is measured but nothing is charged or stopped.
Credits and credit packs explains what credits pay for, how the allowance and the balance are used, and how to buy a pack, including for an organization.
A hosted audio submission that is refused returns its reserved credits. Failed or cancelled jobs with partial results can receive a partial refund; see failed requests and retries. A refund goes back to the allowance or the purchase it came from.
If an app's activity is unfamiliar, follow its name to Connected apps to review access. Generation and credits explains whose account a connected instrument or assistant uses.
A product download and a hosted generation job are different activities. Owning a plugin does not by itself establish an allowance for every connected service.
Product purchases
Purchases and downloads explains where to find acquired products, choose compatible files and resolve access issues. Read each offer for what it includes and how updates are handled.
Creator sales and earnings
Selling a product is a separate business workflow from paying for your own account. Selling on Maru covers marketplace beta and commercial preparation.
Use creator reporting and earnings to understand sales, balances and payout records. Fees, holds and payout conditions belong in the current seller views and agreed terms.
Get help with a charge
If a charge is unfamiliar, compare it with your invoices in Plan and billing, your orders in library downloads, and your purchases and activity on Usage. Contact Maru with the date, amount, relevant order or job reference and what you expected. Do not send full payment card details. The current terms of sale and refunds govern purchase and refund questions.
