About the Intuitive Instruments Exquis

A 61-key hexagonal MPE controller with tilt and pressure on every key, four encoders and RGB lighting. Its Developer Mode lets software take over chosen keys, encoders and lights without replacing the firmware.

USB-C MIDI, plus 3.5 mm TRS MIDI in and out, and CV pitch, mod and gate outputs.

Velocity, X/Y tilt and Z pressure on each key; MPE on up to 14 member channels.

Developer Mode takes over chosen zones over SysEx while the rest plays normally, and has an exit command.

Firmware updates use the manufacturer's updater over USB. The firmware is closed.

Maru controller apps are in development

We are building an Exquis profile for Maru's controller bridge so apps can use its keys and lights. It is not ready: the profile does not exist yet and no Maru app has been tested on a physical Exquis. Maru's Exquis module is a software mock, not a driver. There is no Maru Exquis app to run yet.
