About

Rainbow mode shows every note in its own colour and gives each key an animal friend with a sound and a beat, with a volume limit for small ears. A key combination opens the full Felucca synth for grown-ups.

Install and safety

Untested. No compatibility reports yet. Maru has not tested it on hardware.

Maru offers its own install only for open-source releases with a complete install record, after its installer has completed a full install and restore on a physical M-VAVE FM-1.

  • Put the unit on stock V15 first, and keep your own copy of the stock file from M-VAVE’s downloads so you can go back.
  • Back up your presets with the current firmware’s own export before installing.
  • Rescue: none documented for this firmware.
  • If something goes wrong, follow the recovery ladder.
  • No numbered releases; the date is the last update the directory saw.
  • The author's installer can put M-VAVE's V15 back.
