Install and safety
Untested. No compatibility reports yet. Maru has not tested it on hardware.
There is no browser installer. Follow the instructions in the author’s repository.
Maru offers its own install only for open-source releases with a complete install record, after its installer has completed a full install and restore on a physical M-VAVE FM-1.
- Put the unit on stock V15 first, and keep your own copy of the stock file from M-VAVE’s downloads so you can go back.
- Back up your presets with the current firmware’s own export before installing.
- Rescue: none documented for this firmware.
- If something goes wrong, follow the recovery ladder.
- No browser installer: releases carry the firmware file, installed from a terminal with a script from the repository.
