About

Melodee grew out of Felucca and went its own way: ten engines, eight patterns per track, workspace views and four channels of USB audio input.

Its releases ship checksums, build information and a licence bundle, which makes it easy to check what you install.

Install and safety

Untested. No compatibility reports yet. Maru has not tested it on hardware.

Maru offers its own install only for open-source releases with a complete install record, after its installer has completed a full install and restore on a physical M-VAVE FM-1.

  • Put the unit on stock V15 first, and keep your own copy of the stock file from M-VAVE’s downloads so you can go back.
  • Back up your presets with the current firmware’s own export before installing.
  • Rescue: none documented for this firmware.
  • If something goes wrong, follow the recovery ladder.
  • The author's installer saves a backup first and can return the unit to V15.
